Casual JSB Claim

    Hi,

I recently started a job paying minimum wage based on a 40 hour week, however I am only needed for two days of the week, so 14 hours or so in total, which I do over 2 full days. Am I entitled to claim casual payments for the other days I am not working? I am unsure due to the fact I am technically being paid based on a 40 hour week.

    Thanks

If you are only working 2 days pw you can make a casual jobseekers claim. I presume you are only being paid for the days worked and not for 40 hrs.
