Hibernia advice

Hi! I'm thinking of doing the Hibernia course for primary teaching. My degree is in engineering and I'm lucky enough to be working! In order for me to do the Hibernia I will have to go back and do my honours Irish first. I have a tutor and all lined up so I just have to start.

What I want to know is the following:

    1. Is it hard to get into Hibernia
    2. Are there any prep courses for interview
    3. What way do classes work are they on weekends or what?

    Cheers!

It's far easier to get into Hibernia now,as people have started to realise that there are no jobs and won't be for many, many years. If you choose to go for it, a bit of voluntary work in a primary school should be helpful to you.

Comparatively speaking, it's easier to get into Hibernia than the postgrads in the state colleges.

Classes are conducted online, with onsites every few weeks as far as I know.

The online classes are generally conducted at around 7 or 8 at night.

The weekend classes take place in various centres depending on where you live. They are on every few weeks.
