    Race is on 27th April....

    Hurricane Fly 4/6
    Overturn 5/1
    Zarkandar 6/1
    Thousand Stars 13/2
    Unaccompanied 15/2
    Go Native 12/1

If Go Native is at his best 12s is a steal each way!!

I dont think so tbh. To come back from a 2 year break and run in a quality field like this, it would be a big run if he were to place.

Overturn looks like the proverbial each way bet to nothing. Hurricane Fly too short. Im guessing people are presuming that ridden differently he would have won the champion.

Go Native looks appealing alright, I will stand by for comments from the yard. Hurricane should win but worrying the way he never really picked up at the festival, possibly could have won but Ruby had him a mile back.

Anyone else frustrated by the campaigning of Captain Cee Bee, great winner of supreme took ages to take to fences and then intermittently thrown back into hurdles including handicaps even though he put in a few solid performances over fences. Why not send him to England for a few two mile chases, I get the feeling he may end up in a hurdle race in Galway

Hopefully he runs and more with him too, its great to see some decent horses run in Galway.

Captain Cee Bee shouldve been in the Ryanair, and he would've had a chance too. If he hadn't hit a couple down the back he would've gone close to winning the QM last year.

If HF is 4/6 on the only available market, you'll probably get 4/5 or bigger somewhere before then. Fair price imo. On Cheltenham form, he should win this, with Cheltenham suiting Overturn much more than HF. When you throw in that HF may have been below par in the champion hurdle, then if he's right it looks a big price. Going by Irish form, he's 4/6 to beat Overturn.

Seriously? Would you not rather see him over fences against decent horses?

I never miss the Galway festival, so I like to see good horses run there so I can see them in person and its good for the festival too. I have great time for Captain Cee Bee, he was the 3rd leg of a 3 horse accum I got up a few years ago in Punchestown that netted me a nice win.

You can hardly blame them for running him in the Galway hurdle the prize money is savage, I really am surprised more good horses are not turning up for it.

Back on topic, Overturn is tempting I have to say, I've had a few wins on him this season but also had him when he was beaten by Binocular easily enough too, you would hope the rest since the Champion hurdle would have him back in good shape for this.

I'd definitely forgive Overturn his Xmas hurdle effort. He'd been on the go a long time & McCain was saying before he hoped they weren't going to the well once too often

Looks to be a lot of Rain forecast over the next week or so, I don't think the McCains would fancy that too much for Overturn.
Seemed to love Chester last year, won with a bit in hand, might have a pop at that again??

I reckon the field will be whittled down to 4 or 5 and that the Fly will hose home.

Can't oppose hurricane fly back on Irish soil

Ya i think Hurricane Fly is a big price, perhaps he won the Champion last year in spite of the course.

He will get the job done here

Hurricane Fly was really stretched in the Champion Hurdle this year and I think that was his downfall. They went a much steadier clip last year and he probably had more in the tank at the finish as a result. He is always going to be suited by a flat track and that is a massive advantage for him.

I think he will win but I would be surprised if the mare doesn't run well, she has been kept fresh and will have a decent swing in the weights.
