Am thinking of upgrading speakers in the near future.
Interested in gear such as B&W CM9, KEF Q900, Wharfedale Jade 5, Spendor A5 etc.

    What outlets/dealers have audition facilities?

    Markof.

    Thanks for the responses.

Sad that while the usual advice is to listen to speakers before buying, the number of places to listen is very small (1 maybe 2 outlets) in the republic and thus the range of choice is restricted.

Seems that things are moving or have moved to reviews (mags and blogs) and online purchases, which introduces an element of risk for the consumer and additional costs (maybe a trip to the UK) to find the most suitable speakers.

Would you consider the DIY route..... you'll get way more bang for your buck. PM me and I'll help get you going, you just need to identify the type of sound your ears and listening environment suit, and take a design from there. Be happy to help you out.

You probably won't get to hear the jade 5's, I work for a company which distributes w/dale in Ireland and no jades have been ordered.. If I had the room of course, I would sneak them past the gf:D
