    Hi I have a hotpoint Aquarius model d wf33s/17 dishwasher it stops intermittently and holds water, I have cleaned the filters etc.... any ideas? Thanks

    Have you checked the drain pipe for kinks, blockage etc.

    Pull the dishwasher out from your worktop/kitchen unit and remove the panel on the left hand side of it.Behind that panel there is a manifold type arrangement with tubing etc , see if thats blocked up with crap/gunk.
    If you squeeze it and move up and down a little spring type device it may release the the crap out of it.

    Sorry about the vague wording,but if you google that type of dishwasher you should be able to find schematics and drawings ,might make it more clearer.

    Tried this, it was fairly blocked looking, cleaned it out but no luck, thanks.
    So I bit the bullet and got an engineer out, the pcb is fecked and the pump is also leaking, time for a replacement:(.....I'll have to go cheap as i'm skint, looked is currys they have a brand called Logik, any experience of these?

    Or could someone recommend a budget brand, thanks.
