I'm doing Mechanical Engineering (first year), Formula Student and planning on becoming a chartered engineer after doing the motorsport engineering and management post grad in Cranfield (looking like that would be around 7-8 years more). Is there anything else I could be doing to increase my chances of getting into F1? My university has an alright history of people going into F1, LRGP and McLaren etc.
