Digital intermittent Picture

I have 3 TV off and aerial booster, one of which is a Soarview compatible TV. I assume that the analogue booster will work on digital and I tried tuning it in today, I got some channels, but they kept breaking up every few second,
I am pointing at the Bandon relay station which I understand is not being used for digital so I don’t know where the signal is coming from, has anyone any ideas? Will a larger aerial fix it?

Bandon is one of 4 sites that will be upgraded for DTT in Oct (24th probably).

Until then if you want Saorview (together with analogue from Bandon) you may have to install a second aerial pointing at another transmitter in the area. Can you identify the frequency/UHF channel no. you're currently receiving the Saorview channels on, it would help identify which Saorview transmitter is the strongest at the moment in the area and which aerial might be required?

Have a look at http://www.saorview.ie/make-the-switch/coverage-checker/coverage-map/ to identify the recommended transmitter for your area now, the red areas will get coverage in Oct.

Thanks, I will wait until Bandon is transmitting. Is the existing amplifier to the TVs OK?

    It should be OK.
