Just in terms of reading material, are there any swimming magazines out there. I see a lot of magazine for cycling, triathlon, running, surfing etc. But i've never found a dedicated one for swimming!!

They look like great reads, Okane!! Cheers!!

I'm thinking of getting into some open water swimming this year cos i wanna attempt to do the Liffey Swim, but i'm pretty nervous about the whole thing. The only time i've ever been in open water is just messing about on holidays!!

I'm alright in the pool in terms of swimming lengths, but i know that's like going from running on a threadmill to proper jogging!!!

I've heard it's the best way to beat your pb ;)

Monkey9 Good analogy, its more fun but there is a chance you will get lost ;) also it will be a few degrees cooler, just like treadmill vs outdoor. The only thing that is different is that when it's raining while you are swimming you don't really care.
