    Does anyone know were its best to stay if your going to a match in wembley but want to be close enough to the city to see the attractions and night life in london??

    Stay in the city, but prioritise access to your inward/outward connection....Tube to Wembley from your location.

    Second that. Wembley has two tube lines and a National Rail line going out there so there's plenty of ways to get there.

    Check TFL's website for service disruptions, but they tend to avoid clashing with big events in Wembley.
