I used to have a little app that was down in the tray that used to show me the CPU temp and the GPU FPS but can't seem to find it again or something similar
I thought it was ATI tray tools but that doesn't do it specifically, so any ideas?

You can get Afterburner to show you your FPS in the systray, I think. Obviously it won't do CPU temps though. I think AIDA64 will do it.
