getting help in between courses

    Hi i'm wondering if someone can help me with advice.

    I am a student doing a plc course that finishes in June and want to go on to take the next level in september. I currently get a grant but my grant payments stop in June. I'm 18 and live at home with my parents, dad works but not mom. He doesn't earn much more than the minimum wage and neither of them claim any benefits apart from child benefit for my younger brother so won't be in a position to help. I've tried getting work but i live in an area where its who you know and we haven't been here long enough for my face to fit yet.

    I was wondering if there is any social welfare or other help for the 2mnths i'll be without money?
