Anyone used the Ecotherm (Aluminium) range from Munster Joinery?

We've got some quotes for Alu windows for an extension and Munster Joinery have unsurprisingly come in cheapest. The spec for the range is similar to the other companies - thermally broken, argon filled, low e-glazing etc and I just wondered if anyone had used it and had any comments?

If mods require it, please PM me. Thanks :pac:

    Hi Janmc,

I had munster joinery install ecotherm windows on a new build very recently (20th March), the windows were very large and required additional support steels, there was a few problems istalling the windows largely due to the size but munster joinery just got on with it, they called out a few times to fix details that I was not even aware off, the windows look great and only time will tell about the quality, otherwise my experiance with munster joinerty and the ecotherm windows has been very positive
    Cheers

I'd appreciate some PM's on this as well - I'm getting quotes for windows from the usual suspects and MJ suggested looking @ the ecotherm range.

From all the suppliers I am looking at triple uPVC & their cladded (EcoClad/AluClad whatever name they have on it) range and will decide based on price and preference. I (and other half) like the finish and look of the wood/clad windows but trying to justify the extra costs...
