Watched the first episode of this on Netflix US last night.. twas very good!

Basically, two advertising companies are given the chance to "pitch" (hence the show title.. d'uh!) a new advertising idea to Subway for it's breakfast to appeal to 18 - 24 year olds.

It then goes behind the scenes at both advertising agencies, their ideas and finally the pitch in front of Subway.

Then Subway makes the decision of who to go with.

It's not gonna change your life, but it's an entertaining "warts 'n' all" (the bosses of these companies are very ruthless people.. and AMC, unlike if it aired on Fox for example, don't want to paint it any different than this).

Begins on AMC on April 30th, or is viewable on US Netflix right now.

I saw it last week. It was light years ahead of the kind of stuff that companies like Fox or CBS do (no overly dramatic music, silly sound effects or dramatic camera work that you would get in overproduced stuff like Kitchen Nightmares or Shark Tank).

It was more of a fly on the wall style with very subtle production values.

I'd say it would be a high pressure job to work in one of those companies. Imagine if you were on 3 or 4 pitches in a row and didn't get any of them.
