so ive been seeing a girl for the last 4 months, we're both in college together...but im 23 and shes 19. that has never been an issue at all because thankfully im fairly immature for my age.

The problem is that she is more comfortable in the company of people who are older than her, as she finds people her own age to be immature and annoying, apart from a few very close friends. So she gets on very well with all my friends. She also gets on with people who are friends of my college friends, especially one particular person who i cannot stand.

I dont really have a personal issue with this guy...we're just polar opposites as people go. however i know what he is like when it comes to women...he has always struck me as someone with few morals when it comes to stuff like this, doesnt understand boundaries and other things like that. he treats girlfriends like crap and has cheated before. Now my girlfriend is becoming really good friends with him and sees him regularly. we live on opposite sides of dublin so it makes it hard for us to see each other regularly outside of college, and she now spends most of her time hanging out with him cause they're not too far from eachother.

She knows how much i dislike this guy, and how much he gets on my nerves, especially since i know what he is like with girls. But she dusnt seem to understand the trouble its causing and pressure its putting on our relationship

am i crazy or do i have a legitimate right to be upset by this? or am i just being jealous and irrational?

Unless your worried your girlfriend is attracted to him I don't see the problem really. Just because he cheats on his girlfriends does not mean your girlfriend will cheat with him. By the sounds of it you've already told her why you dont like him, if she wants to be friends with him theres not much you can or should do about that.

what i forgot to mention above is she broke up with her ex after she cheated on him. and while i do trust her and dont think she would cheat on me, i dont trust him in any way.

If you trust her why bring up the fact she cheated on her ex? Its obviously something you're worried about. Whether or not you trust him is irrelevant if you know you can trust your girlfriend.

OP I'm sorry but if you trusted her you wouldn't have brought up the fact that she cheated in a previous relationship and you wouldn't really have an issue at all. If you trusted her that fact that you don't trust him would be irrelevant.
