    Does anyone know if this bluray player allows access to Netflix?
    I was going to buy one today but it says in the box iplayer and a couple of others don't work here in Ireland.

    All the reviews are from the US and the UK. Can anyone tell me what apps it has. Guy in store says it has Netflix but i don't think it does

    No netflix but I don't believe any other brand has it yet either. Will be on the new 2012 models soon.

    Have it and it doesn't play Netflix :( Apparently Netflix UK and Ireland have extra DRM that the US version doesn't have and the pre-2012 Sony blu-ray players aren't powerful enough to decode it.

    Have just bought this player from Amazon (87 euro), as I have moved my ps3 upstairs, and it is great value for money EXCEPT it doesn't have Netflix - in fact, it has no internet movie channels at all. Wish I'd known that before I bought it (sigh)...anyway, to prevent anyone else making the same mistake, here is a list of the internet channels as of today, 09/06/12:
