Hi, My lovely Ps3 60GB has finally given up the ghost. It got the YLOD, fixed that, and now its lost all display and the disc drive has packed up.
So enough is enough, and im getting a slim 160GB version. My questions are what am i going to loose data wise?, as i cannot make an ethernet connection between the two as i have no display on the 60 gb. Also, can i transfer my HDD from the 60gb to the 160gb or is it even possible? Thanks in advance

You cannot swap your hd between the two and keep the data - each hd is married to a console once installed. Put in a new hd and it will have to be formatted.
If you have no display on the 60gb, then it looks like you lost everything.
Do you have ps+? - If so, you're game saves will be there when you log in.
