weird cartoons

    anyone remember back in the late 70s RTE used to show a really weird cartoon from russia/czech/poland, it was always in black and white and kinda grim. I dont know exactly who it was aimed at, seemed to have some kind of political message if memory serves, scared me a little:D

    OP, you're probably thinking about Bolek & Lolek.

    It was a Polish cartoon involving the adventures of 2 young boys.

    I wasn't much of a fan of it either tbh.

    OP, you're probably thinking about Bolek & Lolek.

    It was a Polish cartoon involving the adventures of 2 young boys.

    I wasn't much of a fan of it either tbh.

    It was not Bolek and Lolek. This cartoon never had any political message.
    In Each episode boys were inspired by different book or movie, and then they were playing games and having adventures based on the book they read or movie they watched.
