Where to put timing chip-help!

    Hi

    My hubbie needs to attach a timing chip for the great Ireland run tomorrow but is wearing Vibram Five Fingers-can he wear the chip in the pouch of running tights or any other suggestions???

    I'd keep it lower then that, most of the readers built into mats cannot read more then 1ft off the ground. The vibrams have a strap in them anyways dont they, just put it onto that, use afew small cable ties to keep it in place if he needs to.

    Just attach it under the velcro strap part of the vibrams, using the velco like one big lace

    Unless it's a pair of the regular ones without the straps, in which case stick a safety pin through the mesh top to attach it to.

    Thanks for your replies! I would have told him to wear it as a bracelet and it wouldn't have been read, glad I asked you lot first:P

    He's in the regular ones so safety pins thru velcro it is - thanks Robin
