6 Month Prescription on DPS?

Hi, I have a six month prescription from my GP, my qu is that when I go to the pharmacy will they give me the six months in one go? And can I then get a six month supply (full price 195/month) for 132 under the DPS? Or will they keep it on file and make me go back once a month, hence paying the 132 each month?!

The DPS subsidises your medications if your family's monthly drugs bill is over €132.00.
You cannot get 6 months' supply and only pay one month's contribution.
