If you apply for Illness Benefit and don't qualify for a payment you will get a credit for each week you provide a cert.

You state you are not entitled to any illness benefit payment. If for some reason you do find yourself out sick you should still send in an MC1 and after that interim certs ICs and when you get a letter from Illness Benefit stating that you are not eligible take this letter to your local community welfare officer and they may pay you for the time your are out sick.
