Should be of interest to many here,Discovery is due to move from KSC to the Smithsonian(Steven F Udvar Hazy Center to be exact) next week and will be ferried by one of NASA's SCA's(Shuttle Carrier Aircraft).

The SCA is a modified 747 capable of carrying the Shuttle on top of it. Here it is having arrived at KSC on Tuesday:

Was at the National Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in March. They had the Enterprise prepped and ready to depart. It is going to another museum and is being replace by Discovery
