    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend the best way to export a Gantt chart from Microsoft Project too Microsoft Word. I'm in the process of completing my assignment and I need to submit via the college Portal. Much appreciate some feedback and advice. :)

Is there an export function in project? Also depending on the size would a screenshot suffice?

    Hi Nick

I've tried to do a screen shot but it does not fit properly. I can't find where it can be exported to word..:

You know that you can resize the image to fit you needs?

Hi, I've resized the Gantt chart (Screen shot) and its very difficult to see the wording in the chart. As its for presentation purposes I don't think its acceptable this way. I can export to PDF format but this is not acceptable in the rules of the college. I must send via Word format.

This gotta be one massive chart! ^^

You'll probably have to split it then.

    Nick see below

'Previous versions of Microsoft Project had the little Camera Icon that let you save the Gannt chart as a JPG picture.
The camera icon is removed in Microsoft Project 2010 and has been replaced with the non-intuitive "Copy Picture" command located in the Copy Sub Menu of the Ribbon an the Task Tab' source http://sharepointsearch.com/cs/blogs/ngropman/archive/2011/01/13/ms-project-2010-camera-icon-where-is-it.aspx

I'm now able to export my work and it looks great. Thanks for all your help. :)
