These are campagnolo fitment. I bought them new about six months ago and had planned to use them this summer.

I fitted tyres and a cassette and literally used them once. For sale for 320 without tyres or cassette.

Might be interested in these. Are these wheels ok for 9 as well as 10 speed ?

Where abouts are you based ?

Hi - yes they will take 9,10 or 11 speed campagnolo cassettes. Could take them into Dublin city, otherwise based in south Dublin, north Wicklow.

Thanks still may be interested however I have a question. These wheels would initially be used on an older bike which has Campy mirage 9 speed shifters and derailleur. The thing is when I looked at the bike it has a shimano cassette ! so now i am a bit confused.

I take it that the Campy freehub on your wheel is not compatible with a Shimano cassette

Options are to change the cassette and lock nut, do you happen to have a 9 speed campy one by any chance ?

Otherwise a shimano freehub could be fitted onto your wheel do you know what these cost.

    Any comments would be appreciated.

    Thanks

cheapest and or best way to go on this is get your hands on a 9 speed campag cassette
    or alternatively this

Thanks smush76 - definitely seems like a cheap and good solution.

It seems strange that you are using a 9 speed shimano cassette with campag 9 speed shifters and rear derailleur, but obviously it must work fine.

I also have a new, unused Shimano freehub body which I could sell with the wheels in place of the campagnolo one.

Personally, though I think your best bet is to replace your current cassette with a cheap campag 9 speed one, and then everything will work as it should.

Thanks, I also think the new campy cassette option would be best.

However as I will probably be upgrading the bike in the near future and way then go with Shimano groupset I would be interested in getting both hubs with the wheelset.

Is the shimano hub you have comapible with these Fulcrum Wheels ?

Hi John - yes, both freehubs are compatible with the wheels. However, these also fit Campagnolo record and other high-end campagnolo wheels, so I would prefer to keep one of them, for future use, on other wheels that I have.

At the asking price I would include whichever one someone had a preference for.

    Thanks

I was looking for 320 for them. They are as new - I'd let them go for 300; otherwise I'd keep them myself.
