don't know of any speed dating places but why not get her to join a dating site if SHE is looking for someone.
Or else just bring her on a night out and see what's out there - plenty of single people about.

Thanks SunnyDub, She's doing the dating site thing. She's met a couple of eejits on the sites so I just thought some face time with guys might be a nice alternative for her. Just being a concerned brother!
