Seems to be some kind of survey in process around kinnegad - few landrovers around putting transmitters/aerial looking things in various locations (such as today on top of m6 bridge just west of kinnegad).
Anyone seen them? Know what they're up to?
    Thanks,
    Andy

Cheers, yeah I eventually approached some of them and they said it was a survey to find zinc. Seems to be countrywide as I was cycling up in co.Sligo a few weeks back, and the survey plane passed just overhead (low flying, just above the tree tops it looked like).
Wonder what the state of the place would be if they get a find and start mining?
