my child is irish citizen and holds an Irish passport. we have lived in Dublin within 5 years. I am from non EEA country and we left Ireland 2 years ago.
my question is: can we return to Ireland and would I be entitled to work and stay there as a father of child and does the Zambrano case work for me?thanks

Simple answer is yes, what age is your child, I assume child will be coming with you. Apply for Visa prob best to get Irish solicitor to do paperwork for you.

Your Wife's EU citizenship is enough to get you into the country, provide you travel with her and she is coming here to seek employment.

I am just wondering, in case of 4 children could I request council housing in Dublin or wherever in Dublin Area taking into account that 3 of them are not citizen of Ireland ?

If anyone knows what happens if my irish citizen child changes surname? would he have a possibility to travel in EU or will he be able to obtain new irish passport straightaway?

    Thanks

Do you get council housing where you currently live?

Why is you child changing his surname. If I remember correctly this can only be done if the child is adopted, or if the child's father marries his mother after the registration was originally completed with the mothers name.

Are you serious? Why would you come to Ireland if you cannot afford to house yourself?

No wonder the country has no money left.

If you can't afford to live in Dublin or Ireland then it would be better to stay where you are or go back to your country and work there.

What information are you trying to look for here you already seem to know the system already as it's so corrupt as it is.

OP, do you plan to work or are you planning to be completely dependent on the state?

It's obvious by the op's posts that he plans on living on benefits as why would you work when you get it all for free.
Child benefit, Dole, Rent allowance or full housing and the rest..

The sooner this country cops on and see's the errors in its ways the better because the country is broke.

The surname of a child can be changed in the Register of Births but only in certain circumstances. However, the surname of a child can also be changed by deed poll or common usage. Children aged between 14 and 17 years can execute the Deed Poll themselves but need the consent of both parents. Where a child is under the age of 14 years, one of the child's parents must execute the Deed Poll with the consent of the other parent.

Child chenging his name because he holdes mother's surname, we are married and we have decided to change his surname and give child my surname. that's why I wonder, would he be able to obtain new irish passport straightaway and travel in EU or his passport would be delayed in 2 years after changing surname?
    thanks

Have you and your partner married since the child was born.

You will need to follow the following

    http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/2004/en/act/pub/0003/sec0023.html#sec23

Once the birth cert says your surname apply for a new passport. There is nothing stopping you coming to ireland and doing all the changes once here.

This seems really strange you have no money no job no home and yet you are in a hurry to get a child's passport changed and start traveling.
