Brass wool? Where to get.

    Anyone know where I can get some brass wool? I have some chrome that needs polishing. South dublin area :)

    B&Q should have it, any decetn crowd selling tools, soldering stuff should too, apologies for no actual specifics but 'tis years since I lived in Dublin :)

    Yup indeed it can.
    Wish this thread had happened yesterday!!!

    Went a bit mad with the steel wool. Better than it was I suppose but you can see marks from the steel wool now if you're closer to the exhaust than any normal person would be usually.

    you don't need brass wool, just some elbow grease and autosol.

    Use finer grade steel wool. 0000 is good for removing rust spots without damaging the chrome.
