    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience/ knowlege around HID's for a 2005 Ep2 Civic. I spoke to a mechanic this morning and was told that it more than likely cannot be done, due to the origional fittings, there appears to be some kind of adapter fitted and the HID bulbs wont fit. Has anyone managed to get around this?

    Would really appreciate any advice

    Thanks

I'd imagine it's because they don't use projector headlights.

Civic takes H1 bulbs I think.

The 2005 has projector headlights, so you should be able to.

Go to epcivic.com, loads of information on your car there and lots of them have done this so will be able to point you in right direction.

It is possibe. The adaptor he refers to is like an extension plug but you can buy a similar shaped extension in which to use with HID bulbs. Theyre available on Ebay

H1 bulbs you need the connectors as posted above. They are the bulbs for the EP2 facelift. The link above is different from the connectors I seen before.

Here is a link of the ones I seen.

    Link!!

Thanks very much for the replies and the links, it might be worth buying both adapters mentioned and try them out with the kit, hopefully one one of them will fit :)

    Thanks again
