Smoked Salmon 400G - 2.49 in Aldi

    Just back from Aldi in Finglas and they have the big 400G packet of Scottish Smoked Salmon for 2.49. Expiry 27 April. Just had some and it's lovely

    Farmed salmon is muck.....
    And bad for the environment!

    So you eat frozen pacific wild salmon then or save yourself for about 2 months of the year to get Irish?
    And bad to the environment, you'd be the first one to also complain about overfishing of wild salmon...

    Anyway, afaik Aldi use Norwegian salmon smoked in Poland but that's not a bad deal for it.

    Now, muck is a soil type. Though not too sure what is the link to a norwegian sourced polish smoked scottish salmon? Maybe when I get some tomorrow it will all become clear!:)

    That Aldi Smoked Salmon is really good. Far better than the other supermarkets farmed salmon.
