Yep going for a full month, heading to Budapest the 3rd and staying there till the 7th , then on to Krakow and stay one night there and then on to our polish base in Bydgoszcz, going to all 3 group games and are winging it from there, possibly Prague or Copenhagen may be visited.

Only if I win the Derry City FC Euro 2012 draw.

Otherwise, the pub or front of the TV for me. So looks like the latter.

I'd say its going to be some craic this summer. Pity I wasn't young, free and single.

Am not going, due to the fact, that they slaughter dogs in the Ukraine

Sorry, if I spoil anyone's party.

Going for 2 games Croatia and Spain.

Hope to be able to go to Italy game, but mates stag will be on around then so may have go home. Will not be able stay on if we are lucky to get out of group.

I would not compare those two cases. As far as I understand, those poor Greyhounds were not killed, because there was an official order by the government.

Heading over on the 8th, back on the 21st. Tickets sorted for all 3 group games, as well as campervan and campsites. Cannot freakin wait! :D

Headin to the Italy and Spain game. Hopefully we will have done a job on Croatia which will get the ball rollin for these 2 games. I would rate our chances against Italy more though. Can't see us being able to cope with the Spanish midfield and strikers.

And it's done, because Ireland hosts a major sporting event?

Haha probably phrased that wrong, while 2 or 3 of us have tickets to all the games I'm in cat 1 for Italy and none of them are in that cat, cat 2 for Spain but on a different account to the other 2 lads who got those tickets. All together for the Croatia game though :)

    I can't, I have school. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,477 ✭✭✭grenache

I had planned to go - even paid €180 for flights - but then i realised work wouldn't let me go for the whole two weeks of our group games.

So now i'm not going at all, and come to think of it, i'm a little relieved. I don't think i could stomach watching that $hite Trap has us playing, while being battered by the Spanish and Italians. I'll cheer them on from home certainly, but i wouldn't hold out much hope for us escaping that group. We'll do well to pick up a point.

Could never understand English schools not giving their students holidays until the middle of July - the summer is half over by that stage! I know you get more days off during the school year, but surely longer summer hols is what most kids want!

Going to the Croatia match for one of the lads stags and then flying from Poland to Spain for 6 days on the Monday morning for another guys stag. I'm gonna be one suck man after all that. What about a boards meet up in Poznan before the first game?
