    Hi All,

I live in Leixlip and have just started work in Clondalkin. Is there any direct bus from Leixlip to Clondalkin or whats the best way of getting there?

    Thanks in advance

There is no direct bus, but there is a simple connection.

Coming from Leixlip, take the 66, 66A or 66B to Chapelizod (West County Hotel). From here you can take the 76 or 76A to Clondalkin.

The 76 runs every 20/30 minutes and serves Liffey Valley, Neilstown, Clondalkin Village and Newlands Cross.

For your return journey. take the 76 back to Chapelizod and catch the 66, 66A or 66B from the bus stop under the N4 bridge on Kylemore Road.

Be sure to use a rambler or travel 90 ticket to save on paying two fares.

Good advice. However if the 76 serves Liffey Valley, and the 66 route also serves Liffey Valley, it would make more sense to get off at Liffey Valley, cross the bridge, and catch the 76 bus from there. Going as far as Chapelizod is only wasting time.

No real difference as you have to walk across Liffey Valley. Much easier to time the connection in Chapelizod.
