I recently booked a venue in Killarney "Dunloe Hotel. The hotel looks really nice and the grounds are stunning.Havent eaten there before but from talking to people that have dined there, the food is top notch.
A few other places I checked out were Muckross Hotel - has a nice medieval vibe to the place.
Really liked Cahernane House -an old Manor,Only problem was it was a bit small for our guests as we have over 100 people. They can manage 115 I think but you will have about 20 guest isolated in a different room.

If your budgeting The Brehon do an excellent wedding package only thing is it doesnt have grounds for photo's.

We had ours in the Castlerosse, location is lovely, great for Fossa church and has chalets on site for families as well. Have been to the Brehon- meal lovely, but no real space to wander round, dislike the Muckross park as the function rooms is dark and upstairs.Dromhall has an oddly shaped function room.

Considering the dromhall malton and brehon now. All seem to be in and around our price range. Dromhall and brehon are 4star not sure about the
Malton. Any other opinions on these?!
