Took delivery of large shower tray this evening. No waste provided and after a few phone calls, I am no better off.

I need a 90mm Fast High Flow Chrome Shower Waste Trap with a flexible hose - or even without (can be got in eBay uk but there mst be sellers in Dublin) - with a genuine chrome cover. Anyone recommend the flexible option?

This product is available from a company called wirquin. There are loads of agents for wirquin in ireland. However the best one that i can think off at the moment is

    Excel Industries
    Coolmine Ind Estate
    Dublin 15

If you ring them tell them where you live they will tell you the nearest outlet that will see you the product.

btw. Who ever sold you the tray...... Very bad form.

Thanks. Yes. I was very teed off to find the tray without the waste. It holds everything up for another day at least. Ebay UK has lots of ads for those fast flow wastes but the chrome quality might be an issue. Been caught before by 'chrome' that wasn't chrome.

It all depends to be honest on your water and the cleaning agent you use.

You might think i am taking the pee but when you are cleaning the shower tray once a week rub some baby oil/vasaline into the chrome because not to get it everywhere in a shower.

    It protects it.

Btw. I have hard water and a wirquin waste. Its still going fine 5 years later.

I dont think you have much choices anyway. Maybe get new tray.

Thanks. How much are the wirquin by the way. Also the supplier I normally deal with can't order in any stock because it is in examinership. So I will have to look around Dublin. Any suggestions.
