Drowning

My mind is like a maze,
    It never ceases to frustrate,
I can’t help but wonder how long more will it take.
I think I see an exit, my mind is playing tricks
The exit becomes an ocean or is it just for kicks?

    I’m drowning,
An evil force is taking hold,
    Dragging me into the darkness,
Where I will be tortured beyond control.

In the water I see my reflection,
I lose the will to fight,
Down in the abyss I see yellow smiling, not white.

    I’m being dragged down,
I take my very last breath,
Hoping he will just break my neck.

Then the final answer to the final question,
    Will finally raise it’s head.

    My body begins to burn,
    Another breath I badly yearn.
    I look down again,
    But nothing is there.

    The water evaporates,
    A dark cloud goes overhead,
The pain starts to fall and once again,
    I’m drowning.

That`s some pretty dark stuff. But that aside good job, your use of words and fluidity really combine to paint a powerful image in the readers head.
