As the title says is it possible?

I was just messing about with the tuning of an old 14' tv and was able to pick up BBC1 +2 UTV and CH4. The only aerial I was using was the loop one attached to TV so was thinking it might be possible to pick up freeview with a roof aerial and booster.
The funny thing is Rte, TV3 was unwatchable lol. I have freesat in all rooms upstairs but it would be nice to get dave ect.

Realistically you would need a roof aerial and after digital switch over in the north in mid october is the time to try as thats when all the local relays and main transmitters up there go full power digital.

If you are able to get consistent uk analogue weakly from that loop indoor, then theres a flukey good chance you'll get digital consistently.
However if it's from a relay rather than Divis or Brougher, you won't get Dave as the relay transmitters don't carry it,only the main ones.

I'll let someone familiar with the area comment further.
