Binding

Does anybody bind? I don't have much there but want to anyway, can't seem to find anything that will do it properly. I have a few lycra type vests which I generally wear under everything but they are not very tight across the chest.
Most of the stuff I've seen online is fairly expensive and I don't really have the cash for them, besides they look a bit full on and I don't want to feel that restricted across the rest of my torso. Not sure I would have the patience to encase myself in swathes of banadages either if something simple would do.

I just feel more comfortable. I was wearing tee too so not much extra layering and even though the way I had bound was fairly restricting I was very happy with the result. Some of the people I was with noticed too so that's good. It just felt good.

    There are many reasons.

If someone is FtM, they could bind until surgery (if they want/can get surgery), to help with comfort and safety.

Or.. some more examples off the top of my head - clothes fit better, boobs can be uncomfortable (physically and also how people look at you if you have them), bras can be uncomfortable, body shape looks better with them bound..

Anyway, babybuff - the only suggestion I'd have, as I've heard great things, is http://www.underworks.com/ - they seem to be the full length ones you don't want though.

Though, as I was googling, I saw http://www.t-kingdom.com/shopping/english/page801_english.shtml - which may be more what you're looking for.

used one of those body shaper tops and folded it over on itself which sort of does the trick. Have pain in my chest atm though so might just be best to invest in a compression vest in the long run (love t kingdom)

Sometimes guys give away binders for free or for small money on YouTube if you follow any of the transguys on there?

hey, I was only looking at some vids on you tube and the one or two I did see were wearing T kingdom stuff but they looked the business. I'm just going to order one because I know now how much better I feel with it I don't want to leave the house again without binding.

edit: actually was underworks but t kingdom have same model

this was how it felt yesterday :pac:

Even though I'm mtf. I'd be some what interested in binding, but nothing too tight as I want to keep my new developing boobs under wraps for awhile.

Would these tops be very restrictive when it comes to development?

from what I've been reading in developing tissue it can result in permanent damage (if kept compressed constantly over a long period of time) but if you take care and are only wearing it a couple of hours at a time it should be ok. ( I'm guessing you're not going to want to be sleeping in it :) )

That's what sprung to mind, hence why I asked. I have underarmour tops which will help for a while, but one size bigger hoodies should help with the rest.

I know it might be a personal question but how long do you reckon before you'll have boobage. (I used to just layer and almost always wore tight vests underneath everything anyway and baggy tops will help too)

Could be 6-12 months before I notice anything. Possibly 18 months before others start to notice. I'm guesstimating, but It could take a longer or shorter period of time depending.

Did you order it? I'm just curious about shipping costs and customs, I was going to order from Danae to avoid them.

ItsThatManAgain - did you consider decent quality sports bras? They might be better for you.

I've considered a couple of things, but I ain't going to start compressing anything yet as they have yet to develop. So I'll go with baggie hoodies until they need a little holding down :P

I haven't ordered yet because I'm currently unemployed and being skint is affecting my ability to buy things :(
The ones I looked at on both sites are apx the same price

    http://www.t-kingdom.com/shopping/english/page980_english.shtml -980@ 31.77euro + 5.89 shipping (37.66euro total)

    or

    http://ftm.underworks.com/ or 988@26.77euro + 14.53 shipping (41.30 euro total)

haven't checked out Danae yet, if their prices are cheaper would definitely go for it (who or what are Danae? I can't locate)

I'm finding the same issue with lack of money, but I'll get it together eventually.

Danae are a company based in Amsterdam, their stuff isn't cheap and they don't seem to have a rival to the 988 but they don't charge shipping and it's within the EU so there's no fear of paying duties. Plus I have ethical worries about purchasing from Taiwan with no indication of how the clothing came to be and Danae have a very ethical philosophy.
