My doctor prescribed this to me, has anyone used it before and is it good?

Yeah its good, but a bit expensive. You can do the same with a neti pot, sea salt & sodium bicarbonate. Plenty of info online on how to do this.

Thanks, did you notice any difference afterwards, did it clear your sinuses?

I bought it, I was dying with sinus headache and the pharmacist said it was great... cost a small fortune.

I've only used it about three times in the last six months.

I tend to use it only when my head hurts so much that nothing else works.

I wouldn't say it is a miracle cure but it does help a bit.

I have used it after trying, hot shower, lots of pain killers, massage, drinking lots of water.

Migrastick - small roll on headache cure thing - like a tiny roll-on is quite good sometimes for sinus headaches.

I think it helps a bit, you've to keep at the neilmed for a couple of weeks, a couple of times a day in order for it to break down whats up there. Exercise is possibly more effective though although it can be uncomfortable when you're stuffed up.

Sorry if this is bumping an old thread but I saw an ENT consultant who also recommended this rinse twice a day. I've tried it on an off over the last half year or so but find that I have to stop because my ears block or my sinuses block and it doesn't drain through. I also find I get a sinus infection after I've tried using it for a few days. It just doesn't seem to do anything for me except block me up more. Have made an appointment to go back to consultant but won't be for a few months.

Just wondering has anyone experienced anything similar with the rinse? Did you keep using it and just push through and see results with it? Am so fed up with the fact that every time I use it I end up with a sinus infection - is that normal?

Hi, i stuck at it for about 3 weeks, twice a day and felt it didn't help me, my ears also felt clogged up for about 10 minutes after using it too, I'm starting allergy shots soon because my doctor thinks that will help clear my sinuses...

My boyfriend has found it extremely helpful.

I haven't :( when I use it, a very small dribble of water comes through and if I apply any more pressure at all it goes down the back of my throat. Also get sore ears afterwards. Gonna stick with it for now, hopefully it will get easier to use, because its what 2 doctors and a specialist have all recommended and its made a huge dif to my boyf.
