Does anyone know if triax have launched their proposed combo dish for saorsat & astra & if so where can you get one?
And yes, I know you can get a multi-lnb arm.

    Hi,

They haven't launched their dish especially for Saorsat/EutelSat or Astra but they would work for both provided your satellite is pointed in the right direction.

I have the 78cm Triax satellite dish and use it for Hotbird, Astra 1 and 2. My dish is more or less centered on Astra 1.
I was asking myself would I bother with Eutelsat, and for now it's not worth it. I can get Saorview, Saorview is much better in terms of offer.

I'm not sure if I would be able to get both Eutelsat (9E) and Astra 2 (28.2E). 19 degrees gap is big. My signal on Hotbird is not the best as it is. I find if the multi holder could be bent I would get a better signal for Astra 2...

If a universal lnb was enough to receive Saorsat, I would have tried it already but buying a dedicated LNB for 3 channels...is not worth it.

I should definitely get confirmation from one of the boarders before going that route. You can buy the Triax in a lot of satellite shops in Ireland, it's not that pricey.

Triax have launched it to the trade. All it is is a TD78 with the usual multifeed bar. You should be able to get it from anyone that has TD78's and a multifeed bar in stock. That's all it is.

RTENL recommend a larger dish in some parts of Donegal, the North (presumably) and South West.
