Job Bridge internship question

I was wonder does anybody know how long does it take Job Bridge to contact your Host Organisation once you have given the necessary paperwork to your local Social Welfare office?

Last Thursday I brought the Job Bridge form into the Social Welfare office (both the host organisation & my own sections were filled out), the man behind the desk ticked all the relevant boxes & stamped the form, took my bank details & gave me a photocopied version of the fully completed form (it is now signed by the Social Welfare officer & stamped). The man behind the desk then told me the form would be sent off to Job Bridge & then Job Bridge would inform my Host Organisation that I am now able to start but I wasn't given any indication how long that would take.

Can anybody shed some light on this for me?

Speaking from sorting out a Jobbridge intern last week in my job, it didn't take 2.5 weeks. I got the Intern to give the papers to the Social Welfare office a forthnight ago on Friday evening, and we got confirmation via e-mail that he was ready to start on the internship the following Tuesday. I would suggest getting the Host Organisation to ring up FÁS and ask them for an update.

As an update to my query. I emailed Job Bridge yesterday evening & got an automated response that said 2 weeks. Got a proper response this morning that said 4-5 days but offered to track my form. My form got processed at 1:30pm today as a result & my host organization got in touch with me at 3pm.

This shows you really have to hound the Social Welfare or FAS if you need anything done.
