Looking for first hand recommendations or advice on renting a villa for two weeks in France in Nantes, La Rochelle or Bordeaux areas. Ideally with pool or on coast and would love a first hand referral as booking blindly from web site is a crap shoot. Everyone says go for the camp-sites but these are these are not our cup…

Ideally with pool or on coast and would love a first hand referral as booking blindly from web site is a crap shoot. Everyone says go for the camp-sites but these are these are not our cup of tea. We are taking ferry into Brest and then ideally not have to drive more than 4-6 hours south from there.

We arrive on Sun 5th Aug and depart on 18th and budget of about a grand a week.

Just need 2 or 3 bedrooms for family of five.
