    Hi,

I'm looking for a second hand ladies racer. I'm 5' 8" - could possibly consider a mens but a ladies specific bike would be ideal.

Currently have a Giant Escape hybrid but looking for something lighter and more road worthy for longer cycles. Not looking for anything spectacular!

If you could recommend somewhere to look that would also be great :)

    Thanks
    Saz

    Hi Saz,

    What's you budget?

Are you looking for anything specific? Like carbon etc?

I have a bike I built up for my wife with an old Cannondale CAD3 race frame. But she hardly used it so I built her a MTB....which she uses a little bit more.

The racer is light, but all alloy (aluminium) including the forks.

It's built with Shimano 8 speed (sora mainly) at the moment with a Campag Veloce chainset.

    Let me know if you're interested. I think it's a 54 or 55cm frame.
Although I did a fair few miles on it myself, it's too small for me but may be just right for you.

    Peter
