The bridge at Lacken Falls, Ballyknockan (Lake Drive) is open, crossed it yesterday.

Surface is loose chippings, take it easy, especially in a group.

You sure? I was down there on friday and it didn't look close to being finished.

It was a bank holiday yesterday so maybe they just opened what there was of it.

Its a long way to head around only to have to turn back. I had a row with one of the workers there on friday cos they had taken down all the signs and he wouldn't let me pass through.

The signs had said it'd be done by March 30th. Wouldn't surprise me if they're still working on it on April 30th.

Crossed it twice yesterday (carefully )

There are still traffic cones and warning signs around so they might be back for more surfacing work - surface is very loose

It isn't finished but it's crossable. Structure is there but surface is very loose chippings. Take it easy going over it...

Took these photos after crossing it yesterday. As others have said, lots of loose chippings.
