Perimeter floor insulation

    Hi all,

My floor build up is 2 x 100mm PIR insulation and 50mm screeded with UFH. And first floor 50mm insulation/ 50mm screed.

My query is regarding the perimeter insulation, my understanding is the the perimeter insulation should be the full depth of insulation and screed meaning I require perimeter insulation at least 250mm deep and maybe another 10mm/20mm to keep screed contained.

I am finding it difficult to source PI this deep and it was suggested that I could cut up some 25mm PIR boards and use these as the PI.

What are the thoughts on this practise?

    Thanks

That should be fine (as you have the icf rising walls anyway)
Hows the rest of it going?
