Beach hol in September?

    We're thinking of booking a sun hol for late sep, for a week to ten days. Really just want to lounge by the pool. Looking for beach location, good weather and good food. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Depends on budget! Caribbean, Egypt, Turkey would all be lovely.

    Varadero in Cuba. Was there for a week last year with a mate and we had a ball. Stayed in an all incl resort and everything worked out incredibly cheap when you consider what we got. We booked through Tropical Sky travel agents.

    Thanks for all the suggestions., def some places to consider. It will just be my husband and I. We would be looking at spending €1500 between us.

    i went to lanzarote last sept ! weather was absolutly perfect ! food was amazing!! everything was cheap !!

    would definitly go back again in sept !!!

    loved it!!!!

    For a splendid holiday I can suggest Dewa Phuket Resort in Thailand. It is one of the nicest resorts I've seen, and very reasonably priced.

    Little closer home, what about Tel Aviv? The weather is great in September (just as any other time) and it is a cosmopolitan, interesting and peaceful Mediterranean beach city. In Tel Avib the Savoy is a place to consider, both for location and style.

    Sorrento in Italy is different in atmosphere, more laid-back, romantic. Grand Hotel President is one of the best choices here, with views that hard to match.

    It's not a beach-side destination but is in a beautiful natural setting, we discovered the lake-side Hotel Spa Balmoral in the Belgian Ardennes recently. For a different type of relaxing holiday it's perfect.
