Walter goes to the alternate universe to help with the probe of a Fringe event that threatens both worlds. Meanwhile, David Robert Jones makes his next target known.

I've got to say, this looks pretty epic. I'm pretty excited for this episode (hence the early post :D)

I really liked that episode - it was very fast paced, but there were some great character developments too; Altlivia getting close with Walter and the reason for Broyle's betrayal.

    Good episode.

More of Alt Astrid in her Class A uniform, please. :o

The thing with Broyles is kind of stupid. Why didn't he give the medication to Walter when he first got it and have him synthesise a copy of it? Then he has the medication and he could just protect his family with DoD soldiers?

Walter's excitement at domesticated badgers... really, as pets!? :D Excellent.

Fear of him not being able to and then losing his son I suppose. Walter was above par this episode, nearly lost some tea when he referred to Fauxlivia as a prostitute :D

Great episode but they better have a logical explanation as to why he wants to collapse both Universes. I mean, it's not like he can even point and say "Look what I've done" afterwards (Unless he's some form of rouge Observer hell-bent on stopping the future....)

How ill was his son to begin with? I can't remember.

IMO they're using "collapse" in reference to waveforms (hence Walter's discussion of the redverse people resonating in G). That is, RDJ is... for some reason... attempting to combine the redverse and the blueverse.

I can't really remember either (or we don't know), but in blueverse he is divorced and I think his son isn't sick at all...

Wasnt there an episode in a earlier season where his son was blind and could not walk. I vaguely remember something about him being kidnapped too.

It was a great epsiode. I loved Walter's comment about the alt universe not yet discovering memory foam pillows :D

It was a season 3 episode where Olivia is still trapped in the alt-universe but has realized that she is not faux-livia. A child was kidnapped by a serial kidnapper who takes a child every two years, returning them after a few days very ill. Broyles son was a previous victim and Olivia eventually got Broyles to allow her to question him. He was blind/severely partially sighted due to the kidnapping but thought he'd been kidnapped by two men as the first person was old and the second young. Olivia worked out that it was one man kidnapping the children to 'steal their youth.' She rescued the missing boy, but mistakenly called out FBI instead of Fringe during the rescue. Broyles found out and realised she was not his Olivia but because she caught his son's kidnapper and worked out what he had done to the children, leading to hope his son could eventually be cured, he died helping her get home.

Very enjoyable episode, loved the character development of Fauxlivia. Walter was excellent to watch as always, as previously mentioned the badger food and prostitute line were classic!

Finally realised in this episode that the misspelling of Manhattan in the other universe is intentional, I love all the fine details hidden in every scene.
