    http://www.bbc.com/travel/blog/20120406-pro-photographers-reveal-their-top-travel-gear

“The most essential tool in my toolbox is software for your computer called Photomatix"....
    ....someone shoot that Cnut, please!

....RAW files having a higher resolution (than what??? a photo taken on a camera with less mega pixels?)

Every day I get more and more disheartened with modern photography techniques.

    Where is my RF?

What's worse is that I'm getting this:
We're sorry but this site is not accessible from the UK as it is part of our international service and is not funded by the licence fee. It is run commercially by BBC Worldwide, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BBC, the profits made from it go back to BBC programme-makers to help fund great new BBC programmes. You can find out more about BBC Worldwide and its digital activities at www.bbcworldwide.com.

Good thing I'm moving back to Ireland soon.

I remember back years ago when Photomatix was relatively unknown and now it's responsible for so many badly processed HDR and pseudo-HDR shots. Granted it can be put to good use every now and then to make stunning images but the majority made from that software makes my eyes bleed because the tones and brightness are all wonky. :(
