Easter Preacher

Saw the Christians out for Easter, they drew a crowd. (edit: on grafton street and henry street)
One of them was speaking to the crowd, he said most people think good people go to heaven and bad people go to hell. I didn't stay long enough for him to justify sending good people to hell or bad to heaven.

Anyone else stop and confront them on their nonsense?

I make the big assumption that this preaching was happening in a church/house of worship. If you feel it is all tripe and nonsense, why were you there?

I have stood and listened with a visibly bemused look on my face to the creationist looper who stands on a chair with a microphone on the corner of Henry Street (when the muslims aren't there - what is it with religionists on that corner?), just to see if I could put him off. No luck.

There's a great video hidden somewhere on Youtube of a stereotypical Dub challenging him.

I know, I saw it - very funny. I had to watch it four or five times before I could understand what either of them were saying:o

Saw that, smashin vid! All the "respectable" types around him and he's the only one smart enough to point out the flaws in the logic

(Smart may not be the term, maybe...."drunk and argumentative" may be more appropriate)

At least the Muslims keep to themselves.I've never seen them approach anyone or shout at anyone. The Christians on the other hand shout and yell at you that you are going to hell, when in fact you are going to Lush to pick out a few bath bombs.

The shouty American dude sometimes has a few friends with him as well. There seems to be a new group developed with the John 3:7 yellow signs.

Anyone ever confronted/spoken to any of these people?

They've been around a while. They often hang about the Stephen's Green / Grafton St. area around pub chuck out time. A friend of mine once confronted them and recited this:
