I have a prepay account with almost 200 euro credit.

Is it possible to use credit for stuff besides the obvious calls, texts or data?

They have a music store which can be purchased from, using credit, afaik. I've used it in the past..

Why exactly would you not spend the money on calls, data and texts?

If you have a Nokia phone (S40 and Symbian) you can buy apps from your credit, provided you're on 3, Meteor, Vodafone or O2.

some charities use text donations. Each text is about €2.

When I was changing network I used up my remaining credit this way.

You could switch to a 30 day sim-only billpay plan. Your prepaid balance would be carried over into your billpay account. €200 would get you 10 months on their €20 per month plan.
