I did a bit of research and it seems to me that Victor really did invent that word.

What a star, put it on your CV Vic!

The origin of the word is in the comparable 'aerosexual'. It was funny at the Luas B1 oral hearing laying claim to the word, after it had been quoted by Miriam Lord(?) at the Mark 4 launch(?).

Technically, I co-invented it. I've googled it a few times. There was a person in the UK who had used the term once before me. There is also some Mexican chap who has it as a username, who is "loco" (a mad man) and "sexual".

A thread with this title is incomplete without at least one photograph of a General Motors E-unit. This is an EA (the first of its type as well), built in 1937.

Hmm. A reaction like that may indicate that one is a Locoeunuch.

that's a horrendously ugly looking thing above, then again most US locos are.

But to get back to the topic at hand, I doubt there are too many people who actually love trains and go round having sex with them, to most it's just a passing interest :pac::pac::pac:

I think imho it refers to people who ONLY have feelings for trains and are otherwise pretty much asexual. (kind of sex-substitute perhaps?)

I can think of dozens of people that fits!

Based on its origin, it is more the level of excitement reached about the subject matter, than actual behaviour.
