Hi all, as above, everything still works on screen but does'nt seem to be getting signal from magnet no matter what adjustments I make. Magnet is slightly corroded, would this be the problem,Wiggle do a replacement magnet for a few euro. A new Velo 8 is less than 30 bucks or is wireless the way to go.

The magnet is not likely to be your problem.
Is your computer wired or wireless?

Its wired, is it possible to check with a meter on the contact points. There is a small clicking sound when magnet passes the sensor. I've also changed the battery.

The clicking sound is good. i am not up to date on the wired systems, however you could check the wires for breaks or damage.
